The Allergy Club

The Allergy Club was a project initiated by President Linda Lim-Varona in 2006 to provide a support group for allergy sufferers. The Club also educates patients about their allergic diseases to help them control their allergies and improve their quality of life.

The Allergy Club supports the environment by planting trees. Now on its fourth year, the Allergy Club has already planted 600 trees, and this July 21 will plant 800 trees more in Silang, Cavite and Floridablance, Pampanga.

Currently, there are already eight (8) Allergy Club chapters nationwide.  PSAAI publishes "The Allergy Watch" newsletter for the Allergy Club members and organizes an annual National Assembly for the members.

Dr. Miguel Noche, Jr., an educator and a healer, meticulous and competent, with a penchant for perfection, a past President of the Philippine Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and a Member of the Board of Medicine of the Professional Regulation Commission, commends the Society for the inception of the Allergy Club and urges the Society to “sustain the enthusiasm for which the club was founded, that is, to educate and help patients with allergy, and maintains that a good relationship between the physician and the patient is very important for the outcome of treatment.”
